Yoga for Mindfulness

Sunday

Hannakins Community Centre

Perfect for beginners nervous about entering a Yoga class and for those looking for tools to help manage stress and anxiety.  Pranayama (breath work) to start, slow mindful movements aimed at creating space, relieving tension and moving into relaxation. 

Please bring your own mat.

Balance & Flexibility 

Monday 

19:30 - 20:30 

Chantry Center

This is a quick moving practice, postures are sequenced together to create one long sequence of movement. 

Although Vinyasa is often considered a fast and physically challenging practice, it can also be soft and gentle. 

Moving with the breath can also mean slowing down your transitions with deep inhales and slow exhalations.

No two classes are ever the same, and often the sequences are creative and playful. 

Restorative Yoga

This class includes Pranayama - Breath work, Block work for Myofascial release, Lower back tension relief, Shoulder Mobility and a good deep stretch for you hamstrings. 

Aiming for a bit of full body opening, keeping postures low to the ground and barely even standing up. 

Suitable for all levels, all bodies, all ages.

Informal workshop style learning environment. Taking time to break down postures and or sequences and really go through the details. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and open discussions about things you've always wanted to know.

Kasia Mucha Mu

Mae is one of the best yoga teachers that I’ve encountered in my life. She has a very personal approach always taking into consideration student’s limits and fears. Her lessons are super fun! I wouldn’t be able to tell how many times we had giggles in her class! She managed to build a really supportive community which I’m proud to be a part of.
